Winning & Losing Opportunities
Keeping track of your Opportunities is crucial to the success of your sales pipeline – CRM lets you choose select from Status options Open, Won and Lost. When a new record is created, the default Status field value is Open.
There are a few ways that you can update the Status of your Opportunity records:
- Via the Stage field: you can assign different Status options to apply to your Stage field so that when you update the Stage, the Status is automatically updated with a predetermined choice.
- Via Kanban View: you can drag Opportunity records onto Remove, Lost or Won to automatically update the Status of a record. If you drag the record onto Lost, you will be prompted to select a Loss Reason and if you drag the record onto Remove, this will delete the record and you will be prompted to confirm the deletion.
