Filtering by Lists
One useful tip is you can use an advanced filter to filter by list membership, if you want to work directly in the contact grid with a filtered list of contacts.
Here’s how to do it.
1. Navigate to the contacts grid, and make an Advanced Filter.
2. In the criteria, select “Included in List”
The rule should be “Matches” if you want to filter by people in the list, or “Not Matches” if you want to filter by people who are not on the list.
Then, choose the list you wish to check against.
If you wish, you can add additional filter criteria to further adjust your filtered record list.
Then, click on OK.
You now see the filtered set of contacts or companies, and in the right hand side you can see which filter is applied.
